Throughout her career, Heather has helped thousands
of individuals and families navigate some of life’s most complex and emotional situations.
She has celebrated victories alongside families, walked with them through difficult seasons,
and worked tirelessly to help people find
answers during times of uncertainty and crisis.
There have been cases that kept her awake at night because she genuinely cared about the outcome.
Along the way, she saw something that was not okay.
She saw seniors and families overwhelmed by complicated systems, endless paperwork, poor communication, and uncertainty about where to turn for help. She saw people who deserved clarity, respect, compassionate guidance, and someone willing to advocate for them when the road ahead felt overwhelming.
They deserve to be treated with dignity.
They deserve to be heard.
They deserve knowledgeable guidance, compassionate advocacy, and personalized support through every stage of the process.
That belief led to the creation of Full Circle Care Consulting.
From executive boardrooms to courtrooms and clinical environments, Heather McKay brings a unique combination of executive leadership, healthcare expertise, and hands-on advocacy to senior care consulting.
As a former Chief Operating Officer of a law firm, Heather led operations, organizational strategy, and team development while remaining connected to the needs of clients and families. Her extensive healthcare experience spans senior living, home care, case management, Long-Term Care Medicaid, orthopedic care, physical therapy, laboratory and pathology services, and dementia support.
Extensively trained in dementia care, Heather is known for her compassionate approach, practical guidance, and ability to help families navigate complex healthcare and long-term care decisions with greater clarity and confidence.
A certified First Responder for nearly 30 years, with specialized training in water safety and disaster crisis response, Heather brings calm, decisive problem-solving, and a steady presence to challenging situations.
Her commitment to community impact extends to board and committee service, including the Dementia Care & Cure Initiative (DCCI) Taskforce through the Florida Department of Elder Affairs. She has also served nonprofit organizations as a Board of Trustees member and Chair of the Planning and Implementation Committee. Her advocacy includes helping raise millions of dollars for nonprofit organizations and supporting efforts to improve healthcare systems, policies, and outcomes.
Healthcare facilities, including hospitals have changed their policies and further trained staff at the recommendations of Heather, to not only better serve patients, but to have a smoother system for staff and administration. Heather has been recognized for her compassionate care while strongly advocating for patients. This has earned her a Service Excellence Award from
